Cookie policy

What this website stores in your browser, why it is needed, and how you can control it. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking networks.

Last reviewed 20 September 2026. This notice describes how this website and the Streamline client portal work today.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Browser storage works the same way. Both let a site remember something between pages, such as the fact that you are signed in.

2. What we use

PurposeWhat it doesHow long
Sign-in sessionKeeps you signed in to the client portal and protects the sign-in request. Strictly necessary — the portal cannot work without it.Until you sign out or the session expires
Website measurementA random session identifier so we can count one visit as one visit. It is first-party, stays on our own system and is not linked to your name or email address. The current browsing session
PreferencesRemembers small display choices you make in the portal.Until you clear your browser storage

3. What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No third-party analytics network. Our measurement is our own and stays on our own system.
  • No social media tracking pixels.
  • No selling or sharing of browsing data with data brokers.

4. What we record about your visit

Our own measurement records page addresses, which buttons were seen and clicked, how far down a page you scrolled, whether a form was started, abandoned or submitted, and which stage of the enquiry process was reached. It does not record your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into a form.

5. Your consent choice

Website measurement only runs if you accept it. When you first arrive we ask, and nothing is measured until you choose. You can change your mind here at any time, and the change applies immediately in this browser.

Your current choice

Checking your saved choice…

Declining does not affect the site or the client portal in any way. Sign-in session storage is strictly necessary and is not part of this choice.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in session storage will prevent the client portal from working, because it is needed to keep you signed in. Blocking the rest only affects our visit counts.

Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which clears everything when you close it.

7. More information

How we handle personal information generally is set out in our privacy and POPIA notice. Questions about this policy can go to streamline@isd.strl.co.za.
