Terms of service
The terms on which you may use this website and the Streamline client portal, and the commercial terms that apply to quotes, rental, hosting and cancellation.
Last reviewed 20 September 2026. This notice describes how this website and the Streamline client portal work today.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Streamline, a task, workflow and document system from ISD. By using this website or signing in to the client portal, you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: The contracting entity's registered name, registration number and registered address must be inserted here.
2. The service
Streamline is web-based software for task, workflow, document, communication, diary and reporting work. This website also provides a client portal where you can view your quotes, approvals, invoices, booked tasks, outcomes and messages.
Descriptions on this site explain what the software does. They are not a promise of a particular commercial result for your business.
3. Quotes
- A quote is an offer based on the information you give us, including the number of users. If that information changes, the quote may change.
- A quote is not a contract until you approve it and we confirm it.
- Approving a quote in the portal, or through the secure link we email you, is an electronic signature and is binding in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002.
- You may request changes instead of approving, and we record your message with the quote.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: Quote validity period (for example 30 days) has not been supplied.
4. Fees and billing
The published rates are:
- Streamline Rental — R290 per user, per month.
- Streamline Hosting — R75 per user, per month.
- Charges are monthly and per user.
- Invoices are issued when a quote is accepted and are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless your quote says otherwise.
- Amounts and VAT appear on each invoice.
Current rates are set out on our pricing page.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: Whether the published rates include or exclude VAT, the accepted payment methods and banking details, and any late-payment interest, must be confirmed.
5. Initial period, renewal and cancellation
- There is a three-month initial period from the start of the service.
- After the initial period the agreement continues month to month.
- Either party may cancel on thirty days' written notice after the initial period.
6. Your account
- Keep your password confidential and do not share a login between people.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
- Tell us immediately if you think your account has been used without permission.
- We may suspend an account where there is a security risk, unlawful use, or fees remain unpaid after reasonable notice.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service unlawfully or to store unlawful content.
- Attempt to access another client's data, or probe, scan or interfere with the service or its security.
- Copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create a competing product from the software.
- Upload malicious code, or use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
8. Your data
The business records you enter remain yours. We process personal information as set out in our privacy and POPIA notice, and we use your data to run the service for you, not for our own purposes.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: The format and period for returning or deleting your data after cancellation must be confirmed.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, hosting incidents and connectivity outside our control can affect access.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: No uptime commitment, support hours or response times have been agreed. Do not treat any figure as promised until a service level is confirmed in writing.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will show the review date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects an active account, we will give reasonable notice through the portal or by email.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We ask that you raise any dispute with us first, at streamline@isd.strl.co.za or 011 886 0355, so we can try to resolve it.
REQUIRES CLIENT CONFIRMATION: The agreed court jurisdiction or dispute forum must be confirmed.
